LOVEABLE URCHINS

Well its nearly that time of year again, when love is in the air, so I have created a short slideshow of some of the Urchins that have recently found loving new homes.

The next slideshow will be a Hugglets preview, so keep checking back to get a little peep of some of the new creations we will be showing at the Hugglets Bear Festival on the 26th february, 2012 in Kensington, London.

NEW URCHIN ANIMALS FOR 2012

January is just about to say goodbye this year, and in the Jac-Q-Lyn Bear workshop we have been busy working away on a new range of Urchins.  Its been a lot of fun developing new characters to be added to the Urchin family.  We have created always wanted to include a Hedgehog and finally here is a few for you to have a little peep at.  Each Hedgehog will have the surname Hogins (Hog out of Hedgehog and ins out of Urchins ;-) )

The little Puppy will be released at the London bear fair,  Hugglets on the 26th February.

URCHINS WHO MAYBE HIDING IN SANTA'S SACK

Its been exceptionally busy in the Urchin workshop this last month, and I thought I would share with you some pictures of the new Urchins that have been made. 

Some maybe being prepared to be put into Santa's sack for a Christmas delivery.  Now I hope you all have been good girls and boys you never know a little Urchin might be under your tree on Christmas morning :-)

If you are a fan of the Urchins there is a brilliant Facebook site called Doodles Diaries and it features a little Urchin called Norm with his new pal Doodles, it will certainly make you smile when you see what Norm and Doodles get up to.  This is just a few of the pictures to show you what they get upto, they are always upto mischief.

JUNIOR GOES TO THE CHRISTMAS MARKET IN MANCHESTER

This is is little video of a trip the little Urchin Junior  took to the Christmas, German market in Manchester,.  Junior has been made by my daughter Beth, this is her first mohair bear she has made from start to finish all on her own.  We hope you enjoy the film.

FLUFF AND STUFF

Wow its nearly been a month since I last posted, I can't believe where the time has gone too and its nearly Christmas.

I have been really busy with orders and having lots of fun with the new "I Love Urchins" Group on Facebook, some of the pictures posted by Urchin collectors have been amazing and so funny, if you have a spare moment you might like to have a little look, with over 200 members there is plenty to see.

This is one of the many pictures posted by members of the group.  These Urchins appear to by very naughty and upto mischief.

I have had lots of fun making some really fluffy big 15 inch Urchins this last month, and have lots of ideas for new ones.

I have a large fluffy white Urchin boy I want too finish off and a big girl in a blue and white dress and hat who I am itching to finish, so fingers crossed they will be ready to look at next week.

I LOVE URCHINS

Yesterday I launched a Group Page on Facebook called "I Love Urchins", for collectors and fans to have a chat and perhaps share pictures of some of their Urchin friends.  I am so thrilled it has been really well received with over 70 members already.  If you would like to join in the fun, have a chat with other collectors and have a laugh at some of the pictures already showing, please do as this is an Open Group for all to join.
